Not the end of Riker — there’s another album planned for the New Year — but this will be the last ever Riker 7-inch single.

It felt only right to go out with one of the most requested tracks from the Riker Up! CD. Harbor Drive Five’s “Just Wanna Be Where You Are” is pure, classic Riker: a mid-60s-style stomper with a pounding beat, nagging percussion and the kind of relentless motion that was made for a maple sprung dacefllor in Station Street, Wigan.

Special thanks go to the legend that is Snake Davis, whose incredible sax work gives the track an extra shot of soul.

To mark the occasion, RIK 513 is being issued as a single-sided souvenir edition, strictly limited to just 100 copies. Every copy will be individually numbered and signed.

So yes, perhaps this one really is a little piece of Riker history.
