What might Northern Soul sound like if it were emerging today? What happens when you take that same urgency, melody and spirit, then push it through a more contemporary production? We call it “Northern Bass”, and I’m so excited to share it with the world.

Introducing Dotty Henwick with “No Playboy Love” — another brand-new Riker song that tips its hat to great labels like Salsoul and Prelude, but with a delicious 21st-century twist. It’s a modern soul stormer, already setting dancefloors alight thanks to a couple of advance pressings that escaped the studio.

On the flip side, we’ve taken one of the most requested songs from the first album and completely reinvented it. Damon & The Demons’ “No Use To Sing The Blues” gets a full makeover.
